Off-the-beaten-path travel is my passion, and I've always lived life "like-a-kid-in-a-candy-store" - eager to sample as many flavors as I can. Indeed, my life motto has long been:
"This ain't a dress rehearsal, folks!"
And in that spirit, after years of running my own adventure travel company, and flitting off to far-away places every chance I got, it suddenly dawned on me that in my retirement - why not simply move lock, stock 'n barrel to some distant corner of the world?
So that's the Plan. No doubt a bit daunting even for one as adventurous as me. To sell most everything, ditch my car, move out of my dear apartment here in Seattle, and buy a one-way ticket to some strange, distant land. Nonetheless, I surely ain't getting any younger, so I've decided to give it a go as an expat.
