Wordless Wednesday: Mongolian Ger at Sunset
O.k. so way back (nearly two years ago) when I first started this TL blog, I blithely set up a separate gallery page (under "Stray Pages" to the right ---> ) just for random images from my past travels that particularly tickled my toes, and which I felt deserved a special look-see here. I called the page (brilliantly enough) "Random Photo Memories". Ah but... in setting it up, I made (my usual) mistake of making brain-surgery out of the technicals (i.e. linking periodic posts to the growing photo gallery with nifty anchor links that Blogger doesn't like, and so on). Long story short (which of course is a skill the blatherin' TL has never really gotten the hang of)? It all became a technical nightmare that was waaay too much work, so I stopped posting such photos somewhere back in May '11.
But I still fancy the idea of periodically showcasing some of my travel photos, plus... Plopping a photo up each week, takes some of the pressure off when I'm too busy to peck a post befitting my usual tome caliber.
So... I've now (hopefully) simplified the system (and while I was at it, changed the name of the whole sheebang to somethin' a tad more catchy, albeit the "Wordless" part may not always prove technically accurate), and...
